I Give and Devise my Messuage or Tenement with theappurtenances situate in the Parish of Dilhorne aforesaid now in the pofefsionof my said son Thomas Whitehurst and also my Piece of Land lying in Dilhorneaforesaid called the New Field unto my said son Thomas Whitehurst during hisnatural life and after his decease I Give and Devise the Said Messuage orTenement and Piece of Land unto my Grandson Thomas Whitehurst Son of my saidSon Thomas and to his heirs and assigns for ever subject to the payment by saidGrandson Thomas Whitehurst of the Sum of Five pounds apiece with his Brotherand Sister Joseph and Elizabeth at the end of twelve months from the death ofmy said Son Thomas Whitehurst. I Give unto my second son Francis Whitehurst theSum of Twenty pounds to be paid to him by my Executor at the end of twelveMonths from my death.
